Though the plan calls for the clock body to be open, by employing glass, an intermediate woodworker could easily modify the plan with a solid panel door and sides. The clock would take on a much more Mission style appearance, rather than Arts and Crafts. It's an easy modification you might think about if searching for a Mission Grandfather Clock.

As most cuts are straight, this project is "do-able" by the intermediate, but still has the potential for some neat modifications by the expert. The finished clock is 72" tall, 17" wide, and 12" deep. Full size patterns are provided for the curved lower stretchers, plus a list of materials, photos, and instructions are also included. We do not carry the clockworks for this project, but we can give recommendations for where to go.
