Classic Coaster Car Plans
Designed with safety in mind, this classic style soap box derby race car has a wide wheel base for stability, a hand brake for stops, and a clever steering mechanism -- all of which is detailed by these plans.

Required materials include a sheet of plywood, some extra hardwood, an assortment of hardware, wheels, and decorative paint. The body of the finished car is 62" long, 27" tall, and 20" wide. A project you will want to give yourself a few weekends on, it is relatively simple.

Large, easy to read measured drawings and diagrams, plus easy to follow instructions, and a full list of materials needed are included. Hardware and all other aspects of the car are detailed by the plans -- all hardware should be available at any decent hardware store, or even garage sales.
