Whirligig Value Pack No.2 Plans
[AW-WM200]
$14.00

This pattern pack is a follow-up to our Whirligig Value Pack I. There are 10 more great whirligig wind mills for your building enjoyment. The action on some of them is a little different than what is found on conventional whirligigs, as you can see from the illustrations, but all are wind activated and provide fun whirligig building. The wind mills are between 12" and 24" in size -- the packet contains patterns for a four horse carrousel, a fighting rooster, a flamingo, a parrot, a sea gull, an air scoop windmill, two multi-blade designs, a road runner, a fish, a girl blowing in the wind, and a flower pot multi-directional windmill. All are fun to watch, points of conversation, and can even help scare away moles and some birds.

The full size patterns and detailed drawings help you build, while the painting guides help you decorate appropriately. All hardware can be made or purchased locally and the construction process for each whirligig is very simple. These are great beginner projects which make the perfect gift for many occasions and sell well at craft shows.

Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children.            Sign up for FREE Email Sale Alerts and save 10-30% on plans from time to time. Check the left of the page for a link.            If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.            Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed.            Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!            Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets!            Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.            The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.            Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            Did you know you can Mail-In your order? Check the left of the page for a Mail-In Orderform link.            Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects.            Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.            Call 1-800-296-6256 Mon-Fri from 8am to 2pm, EST, with your question or order.            Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.
