Whirligig Value Pack No.1 Plans
[HW-WM100]
$18.00

One of our most popular pattern packs and for good reason. . . you get 12 projects with full size patterns for each! The full size patterns and detailed drawings will help you build and decorate 12 classic Americana whirligigs which have actions of all sorts, such as:

A woman washing clothes, a donkey kicking, a chicken pecking a corncob, a girl pumping water, a Native American in a canoe, a hen windmill, a man cranking a car, a man riding a horse, a man sawing a log, a flying duck windmill, a man milking a cow, and finally a sailor with windmill arms. Some of these gigs are available separately (click on them to view).

Sizes range from 12" to 20" but most are closer to 20". All hardware can be made by hand or bought locally and the plans detail exactly what is needed and how it works. The construction process is very simple. Great projects for adults and youngsters alike. People love this pack so much, we came out with another Value Pack -- both are great, but this is our favorite.

White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets!            If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.            Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!            The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.            Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects.            Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!            Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children.            Call 1-800-296-6256 Mon-Fri from 8am to 2pm, EST, with your question or order.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.            Did you know you can Mail-In your order?
