The wayward witch looks like she's taken a very painful, but comical wrong turn some where in Albuquerque -- ouch. Maybe you've seen the "soft" version of this craft item made from cloth and sewing material. Wood is far easier to work with for us, though, and thankfully it lasts much longer in the elements.

This one is easy for any skill level. Full size patterns for all pieces are provided, along with a list of materials, detailed painting guide, and instructions to guide you through the entire process. The wayward witch is 48" tall and attaches to a tree or telephone pole to the delight of halloween crowds.

Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building! Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children.
