As with all of our project plans, this one has full size patterns -- so you can just lay the pattern down, transfer the lines, and cut all pieces. The overall length of the rockers is 69" (quite long, indicative of the style), a height to the top of the head of 39", a seat height of 33", and the width at the widest part of the rockers is 17", so it's a good sized rocker for kids aged 3 or 4 and even older. Certainly a unique rocking horse.

There are many options available for this horse. There are patterns for the mane and tail to be made from wood, or you can use real horse hair as seen in the picture. There are sources for all of the pieces you see on the horse listed in the plans, like the leather saddle and stirrups.
