This project is done in the style of English garden furniture. The simple dowel joinery and straight cuts make the plan "do-able" by the intermediate or advanced beginner.

The seat width is 22", table width is 15". Overall: 60" long, 25" deep, 35" tall.

Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.
