The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!
