Very economical to build, only 1-1/4 sheets of plywood is needed for this sleigh. A bit of white primer, a handful of wood screws, and a jig saw is all you need. Large, full size patterns are provided. Remove the screws to store flat, or leave it together for quick setup.

Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.
