Traditional Grandfather Clock Plans
[U-558]
$10.00

Cherry, walnut, oak -- all good choices for this heirloom quality clock. Plans for the 6' tall timepiece include full size patterns for curved pieces, instructions to aid in the building process, photos taken during construction for comprehension, a list of materials you need, and many measured drawings and diagrams.

You can add any movement that will fit the clock dimensions and though we do not specialize in clock parts, we do offer several electronic movements designed specifically around this plan. You can call for details on these chime or chime-less electronic movements which lend every appearance of being mechanical at a fraction of the cost.

The picture you see was sent to us by Earl. He built his clock from solid oak, with a "Golden Oak" stain. He said the plans were "easy to follow" and he recommends them. Looks so good, Earl, we're using YOUR picture now. Your clock can look just as good.

Neat!            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets!            Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.            Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Sign up for FREE Email Sale Alerts and save 10-30% on plans from time to time.
