Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove. Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building! Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!
