Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!
