Smooth Folding Lawn Chair Plans
[SF-24]
$14.00

This is an interesting project which is sure to wow anyone who sees it. . .just be sure you are ready to cut many pieces and be patient during assembly -- the finished project is well worth the time, though, as you can see from the picture. Superb in teak.

The plan you will receive includes information for constructing both the chair and the footrest pictured here, both of which fold for storage. Not only are these pieces contoured and very comfortable in use, they are also a conversation piece and are great for craft shows.

Finished size of chair is 24"W, x 36"H, x 36"D. You get large, blueprint style plans which include a list of the materials needed, instructions, measured drawings, and full size patterns for all pieces. Table saw, jigsaw, plus basic handtools are about all you need.

Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects.            Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!            Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.            Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!            The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks.            Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!            Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Sign up for FREE Email Sale Alerts and save 10-30% on plans from time to time. Check the left of the page for a link.            Call 1-800-296-6256 Mon-Fri from 8am to 2pm, EST, with your question or order.            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.            Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.            Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets!            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.            Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children.            Did you know you can Mail-In your order? Check the left of the page for a Mail-In Orderform link.            Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.
