Shaker Sewing Cabinet Plans
[WIFS-1013]
$14.00

When we set out to design this Shaker-style sewing cabinet, a compact yet still attractive and functional piece of furniture was wanted. Plenty of useful features and storage options resulted. The cabinet IS designed for the sewing machine to sink down into the table on a hydrolic lift and the plans detail where you can purchase the necessary lift mechanism, or it can be omitted.

Shown here in cherry. It is 26-1/2" high, 44-1/2" wide, and 18" deep.

Included with your plan are the following: detailed instructions, large measured drawings, a complete list of materials, full size patterns for any curves, and a few photos. The best plan we've seen for a "sinking machine" cabinet.

Neat!            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.            Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.            Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!            White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets!            Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects.            The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks.            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Sign up for FREE Email Sale Alerts and save 10-30% on plans from time to time. Check the left of the page for a link.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!            Call 1-800-296-6256 Mon-Fri from 8am to 2pm, EST, with your question or order.            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.            Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.
