It's powered by a rubber band! Just like the old traditional paddle boat toys, this one too will flap its paddle wheel in the water when you twist up the rubber band and let her go. Super easy to build, but lots of fun for kids of any age. Stain or paint as you like.

Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. Welcome fellow woodworker! Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove. Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building! The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets! Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.
