There are 14 characters in our PRE-PAINTED Nativity scene poster project -- that's right, there is no painting required to acheive the exact results pictured here! A customer actually sent in the very photo you see to the right. He made this project and so can you.

Each 2/3 LIFE SIZE pre-painted figure is printed on durable, heavy-stock paper. In a nut shell, each figure is glued to the material of your choice (usually 1/2" plywood) then cut out and set up for the family and neighborhood to enjoy for years to come.

Maybe you've seen this Nativty set before. The time-tested design has been around for 50+ years. We often get calls from customers who say that they are refurbishing a set their parents owned 20 or 30 years ago, proving that if you take your time and do the project correctly it will last for a long time. It's a great project that will save you money, plus give you and your family much more home-made enjoyment than a store-bought Nativity.

Your investment includes the $50 for these posters, plus you'll need to purchase three sheets of plywood, a gallon of wood glue, a gallon of primer paint, and a gallon of polyeurethane for waterproofing (should you elect to use it). All said and done, the project will cost about $150, depending on where you reside in the country and if you have any of the materials already on hand. Following the simple directions, ANYONE can do this project.

He did such a great job in showing the beauty of this project that we now use his photo to show woodworkers and crafters the beauty of this Nativity display. THE 14 FIGURE NATIVITY SET includes Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Angel, Wise Men, Shepherd and animals. The camels stand 5' tall for reference.

Welcome fellow woodworker! Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects. Call 1-800-296-6256 Mon-Fri from 8am to 2pm, EST, with your question or order. Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Welcome fellow woodworker! The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building! Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!
