5' New England Lighthouse Plans
[U-860]
$10.00

This project is clearly a woodworker's favorite. What better way to hail your guests and showcase your woodworking talent? We've seen so many awesome photos of finished lighthouses -- the decoration possibilities are truly endless. One fellow woodworker added a bug zapper to the top of his lighthouse (which actually looked pretty neat). Another customer put a revolving light with a timer on his lighthouse and stuck it by his pond!

Full size plans for all curved pieces are included with this time tested plan, along with step by step instructions, a list of materials, photos, and measured drawings. The lighthouse can stand by itself with no improvements, but as seen in the picture, we recommend a solar light be added to the top of the lighthouse so it becomes a beacon. 5 feet tall.

Did you know you can Mail-In your order? Check the left of the page for a Mail-In Orderform link.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed.            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.            Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children.            If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.            White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            Call 1-800-296-6256 Mon-Fri from 8am to 2pm, EST, with your question or order.            The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks.            Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.            Sign up for FREE Email Sale Alerts and save 10-30% on plans from time to time. Check the left of the page for a link.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.            Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!            Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects.            Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.            Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets!            Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.            Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!
