Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects. Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets! White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.
