Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.
