The oval back chair was traditionally used as a side chair. This chair includes a tail piece which was an option with chairmakers of the 18th century -- these bracing spindles make the chair much stronger by reinforcing the bow against stress loads.

Finished size of authentic repro: 36 3/4" high, 15" wide, 21" deep.

Plan includes large scaled and measured drawings, a list of materials, and some instruction -- this plan does not include full size patterns. We consider this project to be at the advanced level. The plan should help you complete it and they sure do look sharp finished.
