Octagon Planter Benches Plans
[SF-51]
$15.00

This is a very versatile set of plans. Use the planters by themselves or in conjunction with the bench seats to create attractive, useful seating and storage. The bench widths can be adjusted to meet the individual needs of your deck or patio area. The benches are also designed so that water runs through -- making it a great pool or spa-side piece.

The lower photo shows the planters being used as a drink center with storage area and the plans include a lifting and locking assembly which allows room for 4 wine bottles and 4 glasses, while lids double as serving trays. You can see why we label these plans as being "versatile" -- planters, benches, refreshment caddy, storage and more.

Bench planters are 14-1/3"H, x 17"D. Benches are 11" deep.

Individual planter inside diameters range from 9"D x 8-1/2"H, to 17"D x 16-1/2"H. The plans include full size patterns where needed, measured drawings and diagrams for assembly, a list of materials, and instructions for building and cutting.

Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks.            Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Call 1-800-296-6256 Mon-Fri from 8am to 2pm, EST, with your question or order.            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.            Did you know you can Mail-In your order? Check the left of the page for a Mail-In Orderform link.            Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects.            White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            Sign up for FREE Email Sale Alerts and save 10-30% on plans from time to time. Check the left of the page for a link.            Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.            Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!            Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!            Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed.            Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children.            Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets!
