It may not be as hard to build this gazebo as one might think. If you've built a deck, you can likely breeze through this project -- and if you're just a handy woodworker like most of us around here, these plans really put this project within reach. Just do like we would and take your sweet old time about it! You'll probably want a buddy to help with the roof.

A full list of the necessary building materials is provided, along with large fold-out measured drawings, instructions for building, and other useful information. The gazebo is octagon in shape and measures 11-1/2' wide from flat to flat. Stands about 15' tall.

Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.
