This project is made by layering wood. The gloves, for example, are cut out and painted separately from the body, then affixed to the body which gives the project some interesting and unique depth.

It's an easy process which is explained in detail by the plan -- and you get full size patterns for every piece, making it as simple as possible for anyone comfortable with a hand held jig saw.
