Metal Detector: Top of the Line
[WD-01]
$105.00

What does a metal detector have to do with woodworking??

Safety. The Lumber Wizard is a top of the line security metal detector wand heralded by woodworkers to be perfect for quick checking your lumber for staples, nails, and any other scrap metal BEFORE cutting -- that's BEFORE you run your table saw through it.

Metal scraps in your lumber can be very dangerous. Protect yourself with this fantastic 15" professional, wand style metal detector. Just pass it over the lumber you'll be cutting and be assured it is safe to cut, free of metal shards of any kind.

The Lumber Wizard is the most advanced and most powerful security wand available. It's powerful coils and state of the art electronics allow the unit to be used in applications where precise detection is critical. The powerful long range coils and unique vibration capability allows the unit to be used as easily as possible. The powerful scanning head allows for deep penetration of lumber (or anything else) where metals are secretly concealed.

DETAILS:
Responds equally well to all types of metal, steel, stainless steel, zinc, magnesium, and aluminum. Unit operates with an automatic tuning transmit/receive circuit. Provides precision detection pattern which helps prevent false alarms from rebar in floors and other surrounding metal. Operating frequency is 13 kHz / 6,600 Hz. Power requirement is one nine volt battery; standard alkaline, typical battery life is 80 hours. On / Off and Stay On switch. A tone beeper and LED RED light are used to indicate the presence of metal. When battery drops down to 6.0 volts the unit operates with a warble tone and flashing light instead of the normal steady tone and light indicating a low battery. The unit will operate properly as the battery drops well below 5 volts. Once below 3 volts units will emit constant beep tone until unit shuts off. The detectors' sensitivity is fully adjustable through an access hole in the handle to prevent tampering while providing convenient and easy adjustment.

A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.            Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            Did you know you can Mail-In your order?
