Here's a unique lighthouse plan which puts a twist on a classic woodworking project by adding a curator's dwelling at the base of the tower. Crazy woodworkers may end up adding lighting even to the curator's house -- we've seen some very creative renditions of this plan.

Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.
