Although the plan details what hardware you need and how to install it in order to make the windmill project actually work, we have this bearing kit available for purchase.

The bearing kit comes with:

2 enclosed, mountable bearings for the propellar shaft to turn
1 metal shaft, 1/2" wide
1 lazy susan bearing which allows the entire propellar assembly to pivot

The kit is shipped by UPS from California and takes about two weeks to arrive.

Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.
