Easy-to-build fire truck is sure to please kids. There's plenty of storage in the back for hoses, toys, and other necessary equipment. Fire engine red is the standard choice for paint, but why not go with emergency yellow?

Trace the full size patterns onto the wood, cut and assemble using easy to follow instructions. There is also a full list of the materials you need. Use utility wheels and away the kids go, powering the truck with their own two feet, or follow the extra details on the plans outlining a foot-powered pedal mechanism. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!            Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler.
