Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove. Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.
