Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed.
