Detailed Carousel Rocking Horse Plans
[FS-CH]
$17.00

When you break this showpiece down into its component parts, it's not as difficult as you might think. There is no carving involved, rather just a little patience and some scrollaw work to enjoy. The "swirlies" and flowers on the rocker runners and rest of the project are all scrollsawn pieces of wood which are then stained or painted as desired and applied to the horse after basic construction is complete. Of course, you can choose to omit any of the detail you wish in order to simplify and quicken the rocking horse.

Full size patterns are provided for ALL pieces -- including all of the detail work, the horse body, and rockers. As you can see, the horse is clearly an heirloom quality showpiece which is sure to please. The project gives you two options for building -- the first option is for making the horse as a showpiece only, not meant to be ridden, but the second option allows you to install a more heavy duty post so the horse can be played on by a child who is sure to be delighted by this work of art.

34" long, by 27" high at the seat, by 16" wide.
