Decorative Sleigh & Sled Plans
[FS-SS]
$18.00

You get good written instruction, full size patterns, and materials lists for both of the projects pictured here: the sleigh and the antique sled.

Bonus plans for a miniature version of each project (look closely on the wall in the photo) are also included. These smaller projects are the perfect size for a mantel or as a table centerpiece for your family's Christmas gatherings. They're not meant for actual use of course, but they make very fine decorations. (Look under toys for an actual toy sled!)

Large project versions average 36" long, while the smaller ones are about 12" long. High quality projects like these will take a little extra patience, but the reward is a lasting heirloom sure to delight you and your loved ones during the Christmas seasons for years to come.

Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!            White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.            Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects.            The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Sign up for FREE Email Sale Alerts and save 10-30% on plans from time to time.
