If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Welcome fellow woodworker! A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!
