A table that can be used with many modern furnishings, depending on which lumber you choose and how you finish. The raised panels on the rails and side stretchers give a rich play of light and shadow. If you're a beginner, eliminate the raised panels and just go with flat side panels for a more conservative appeal. Use traditional tapered legs, too, instead of the turned more ornate ones. The 21" by 46" top with edge banding gives the woodworker an opportunity to test his skill at veneering if a solid top is not desired. 17" high. All joinery is shown in actual size, curved workpieces are all in full size and you can measure and trace straight from the drawing. A bill of materials doubles as an exact cutting list, there is a detailed exploded diagram, and all hardware requirements are provided. The exploded diagram is so detailed that project specific assembly instructions are not provided.
