Here is a combination chalk board and desk. The part of the chalk board seen in the picture with writing folds down to make a desk top for the child can pull up a chair -- the drawers you see remain able to be accessed while the table top is in the down position. An interesting project for the builder and very useful for any child. Materials are inexpensive and the unit is sturdy. A dry erase board or other material could be substituted for the chalk board.
