Bed frame accomodates a twin mattress and features two working drawers for storage which can be placed on either or both sides of the frame, or omit the drawers entirely. Full size pattern is included for the anchor seen on the headboard.

Full size plans are provided for all irregularly-shaped pieces, a list of the materials needed to build the bed, measured diagrams, photos, and good instructions help make this a great project to start increasing your furniture skill level -- mostly straight cuts.

The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.
