As a bookcase, there are plenty of shelf placement possibilities for books and as a gun cabinet there is plenty of lockable storage in the lower compartment. Hinged doors on the upper portion of the unit allow you to securely display your books, rifles or shotguns.

Full size patterns for curved pieces (like the gun racks) and large format measure drawings and diagrams help ease your burdens. Finished: 74" tall x 33" wide x 17" deep.

Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove. The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building! Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets! Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children.
