The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.
