Add sitting space which can literally be "grown into" by your garden. The sides of the bench provide trellis space on which green vines or roses can grow. As with most outdoor projects, the arbor is best made from redwood or cedar to withstand weather.

You get full size patterns where necessary, such as for the archway, plus instructions for building, a list of materials needed, and detailed measured drawings. The constuction is simple and anyone with intermediate woodworking skill can do this project.

Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!
