Build a handsome love seat settee (which matches our Folding Adirondack Chair) to complete a pleasing and comfortable seating group for the lawn or deck. Overall dimensions of this finished love seat project is 54-3/4" wide x 33-7/8" deep x 40" high.

This is a blueprint style plan which is heralded by beginners and experts alike as being a pleasure to work from because all parts are printed in full size -- all joinery is shown in actual size, curved workpieces are in full size and in many cases you can measure straight from the drawing if need be. The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building! Neat! Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!
