Detailed plan for a professionally designed, sturdy barn with a loft and overhead garage style access door -- perfect for storing small motor vehicles or lawn tractors. A complete list of materials needed to construct the pictured storage barn is included with the plan, along with measured drawings and instructions. The plan calls for a poured concrete floor, though a dirt floor might be adapted by the user. Ground to peak height of the roof is 12' 5". Structure is 12' wide and 16' feet deep. 8' 8" ceiling height, while the overhead door space is 7' high. Side window allows light from one side, or with user mods, to both sides and rear. Overhead storage area is about 4' high at peak, slanted with roof pitch to sides. You'll probably need a helper with the gambrel style roof raising, but the plans take care of the figuring.
