Sewing Machine Desk and Cabinet Plans
Practical and beautiful piece of furniture which doubles as a writing desk. The 13" wide, 14-1/4 high, 17-3/8" deep storage compartment holds most any sewing machine when it's not being used. Top leaves fold out, providing a big 20" by 78" work space. A well cut in the top surface allows the machine to be flush with the working surface of the cabinet -- custom size it. Cabinet it 20"D, 39"W, and 30"H. No special hardware is needed. Machine is meant to be stored in side cabinet with door. Use desk with Storage Seat 193 to make a complete sewing center.

This is a blueprint style plan which is heralded by beginners and experts alike as being a pleasure to work from because all parts are printed in full size -- all joinery is shown in actual size, curved workpieces are all in full size, therefore you can measure and trace straight from the drawing if necessary. A bill of materials doubles as an exact cutting list, there is a detailed exploded diagram, and all hardware requirements are provided. The exploded diagram so detailed that project specific assembly instructions are not provided.
