You don't need a large garden to justify building a garden seat. A small, attractive and sturdy bench like this one is right at home on a front porch, beside a flower bed, or anywhere in the backyard.

For strength, the garden seat is built with traditional mortise and tenon joinery, which is written about in great detail in the plan for those who need it. A six-page booklet and two 18" by 24" sheets of shop drawings included. 48" long, 20-1/2" wide, 18" high.
