Craftsman Mission Coffee Table Plans
The oak coffee table these plans detail is enhanced by a beveled glass top and a series of narrow, Mission/Craftsman style spindles.  The dimensions are 30" wide, 38" long, 17" high.

The table in the photo is made of solid quarter-sawn white oak -- just as original Craftsman furniture designs would have used.  Mortise and tenon construction is used to join the legs to the end rails and the stretchers.  The plans include a special, time-saving technique to create the mortises for the spindles on the ends of the table.  If you've never done mortise and tenon joinery before, this plan is one of the most detailed you'll find as it walks you through each procedure.  Intermediates or adventurous beginners -- jump in!

If you prefer a more traditional look for your table, this plan also includes instructions for building a solid wood top.  Twelve-page instructional booklet and three 18" x 24" sheets of shop drawings included.  You can't go wrong with this awesomely detailed plan.
