Two Shelf Bookcase Plans
Here's a woodworker's book case -- not because it holds books about woodworking, but because the it gives you the opportunity to use several different kinds of joinery. For example, the sides and back are framed panels assembled with stub tenon and groove joinery (which the plans detail explicitly). The frames are joined with rabbets and grooves. Stopped sliding dovetails hold the apron that spans the side frames (also detailed in the plan). Finally, the base employs splined miters. If you love woodworking, this is a project for you!

Overall dimensions are 29" high, 38" wide, 12" deep. This is truly a fine piece of furniture rated for intermediate to advanced skill levels. These plans are super-detailed and really help you learn several kinds of joinery. . .all while building an heirloom-quality bookcase.
