This is one of the best projects we have seen in a while. It speaks for itself. Standing 70" tall, and protruding 30" from the corner, this cute tree is fairly simple to make, inexpensive, and will both delight a lucky child as well as help keep the room organized.

Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!
