Nifty piece shows her "squirreling" away an acorn nut. 25 pieces in all, complete with full size patterns, wood suggestions, and a detailed cutting legend. 7-1/2" wide, x10" tall.

Intarsia, to those who have never encountered it, is sort of like building a puzzle for woodworkers. By piecing together serveral parts and contouring the edges of those pieces, varying the stain colors (or types of wood), and then affixing all pieces to a backboard, depth is acheived in the project.
