These plans are very detailed and include professionally rendered measured drawings, a list of materials for the entire project...including the ladder and balcony...and clear instructions that guide you through the project.

The structure is meant to serve two purposes: a playhouse fort for the kids, as well as extra lawn tool storage for you. At 12' x 12', there is plenty of room for shelving and storage in the downstairs area, while upstairs can be designated for the kids' backyard playhouse -- or use it however you like, very versatile.

Both frame flooring and concrete slab options are discussed.

Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them! Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building! Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove. Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets! Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects. Welcome fellow woodworker! White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.
