One of our most popular rocking horse patterns. Simple, sturdy construction is proportioned perfectly and the cuts are made simple by use of the full size, traceable patterns provided. A customer and fellow woodworker like you sent us some photos of his project. We liked the photos so much, we decided to use them to help show why this is such a great project.

The customer who sent these photos you see to the left said that the horse came out "great" and that his grand daughter loves it. She was a little small for it at 1 year of age, but by 2 years old she'll surely be climbing all over it. It's a good medium size rocking horse.

You will receive full size patterns, a list of the materials you need to build the horse, photos, assembly diagrams, and instructions.

Finished size is 44" long, 25" tall.

Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets! If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.
