Quite a few options for this younling. It can be as simple, or more difficult, as you like -- there are patterns for a horse with fewer pieces and one with more pieces than pictured.

The way the full size patterns are set up actually gives you 7-10 different horses of varying sizes and compositions. Instructions guide you through this great pattern. The finished size for the "main" horse, pictured, is about 16" square.
