Each capital letter and number included with this set of patterns is exactly one foot tall. The width will vary accordingly based on the letter -- for example, the W will be wider than the J or L, of course, but they are proportionate.

There are a couple of ways to cut lettering from our patterns: use graphite transfer paper which will copy the lines of any pattern onto wood as you trace them. . .OR, cut out a letter and trace around it.
